Main duties of the job

Our teams work with children with severe learning disabilities and complex disabilities to support them, and their carers, to achieve their outcomes. CWP is at the forefront of health and social care integration and this service lends itself to developing new, innovative ways of working together.

Within the CWD Teams you will be undertaking single assessments and working with children and young people with complex disabilities through Child in Need, Child Protection and Children who are looked after. You will be a child centred practitioner and will complete support plans, mental capacity assessments, be involved in court work and take the lead on safeguarding enquiries. In return we can offer you a clear career progression framework with a range of training opportunities.
