We are seeking an inspirational and aspirational leader in Children's Services with a drive to ensure excellence for children, young people and their families. Though initially based in the North Midlands Locality, you could be asked to oversee services in other parts of the region, therefore you must be able to travel across the region to attend face to face meetings, events and training as required. You will also be required to be part of the Senior Management Team out of hours rota, providing business critical cover for our services outside of normal working hours.
As part of our Senior Management Team, covering Central England, your primary focus will be driving forward our Children's Services provision by providing both operational and strategic accountability. You must have significant experience of working in Children's Services provision as well as extensive knowledge of a range of issues that may impact on children and young people.
